Thomas,
a magna cum laude graduate
of Loyola Law School with
a Masters of Law in Admiralty & Maritime from Tulane, is a native of Morgan City, Louisiana. Although Thomas practices in all areas of civil law, his focus is in the maritime, medical malpractice, transportation, and trucking defense arenas. Upon graduation from Loyola, Thomas was acknowledged as a Professor William L. Crowe, Sr., Scholar and distinguished with the Joseph M. Rault award for his performance in Admiralty and Maritime law. In addition, while attending Loyola, he received law excellence awards for outstanding performance in contracts and mineral law. Thomas interned with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Administrative Law Judges where his work centered on cases involving the Longshore & Harbor
Workers Compensation Act.
Prior to practicing law,
Thomas obtained a Doctorate
in Chiropractic from Texas
Chiropractic College and
practiced as a Chiropractic
physician. He has also served
honorably in the armed forces,
first, as an infantryman
in the United States Marine
Corps Reserved and, then,
as a medic in the United
States Army National Guard.
Thomas is admitted in all
State and Federal courts
in Louisiana and is a member
in good standing in the Louisiana
State and various local bar
associations.
